This might well have been my very first shot with the 2 lens macro setup. It is certainly one of my favs. I think the crack in the M makes it all that more ‘artistic’, even though it wasn’t on purpose, it just happened to be the one I grabbed.

More of the little person, Little People.

A household sponge that was used for water color paintings.

This one is an electronic component out of our old DSL modem….DUSTY! No wonder the thing died!!

TiMACROfied — Extreme Macro Photography

This is a mini bubble wand, so not a good example for size but it made an interesting subject nevertheless. The gold is gold paint from a paint pen I used to jazzz it up some.

This guy was > a challenge to photograph as he was constantly on the move. In hindsight….higher shutter and ISO! I think this was prior to me having the ring-light flash otherwise this would have been a good application for it.

This was one of those that looked better in my mind that it did on my sensor! I think in part since there is very little contrast between the brush and the bristles. It is a lint cleaning clothes brush.

This one is a trip, once I tell you what it is….Folger’s? instant coffee crystals…not the kind that look like ordinary ground coffee though…these really do look like small pebbles….stuff you’d line your fish tank with :-P

TiMACROfied — Extreme Macro Photography

Extra Gum!

TiMACROfied — Extreme Macro Photography

I think this is actually a Cert…now with retsin :-D

TiMACROfied — Extreme Macro Photography

Starlight mint, orange flavor – very graphic though, as most of the candy was/is quite colorful and interesting up close.

TiMACROfied — Extreme Macro Photography

Life saver! Now this is the perfect size/scale example. I’m only able to fit 2 letters from Saver in the screen!

I knew I wanted to TiMACROfy this the moment I saw it. It’s a very cool dental floss container, one of the freebies they hand out with your 6mo visit.

Lots of very cool colors and textures to be found. The last image is the floss cutter, with floss!

Alien rock or raisin? Hint: it’s high in fiber

Pretty wild looking close up is it not? Yet another good scale example for as you can see, I cannot fit the entire raisin in the frame.

Petrified play-doh….like bracelets and jewelry, something we have ample amounts of here @ home.

This was a killer find. Had no idea how it would turn out going into it, one of my favs,

SOS cleaning pad!

Finger nail…hard to keep it perfectly still!

Velcro…might have been better had I tried alternate lighting variations.

ZEST! fully clean, you’re not fully clean unless you’re ZEST fully clean :-)

Lots of fun things to explore with the soap bar, hard to light though

I added contrast to make the image a little more grungy but I assure you it wasn’t this scary looking really.

Shredded cheese!

Pinheads and patriots…not to be confused with BO’s segement on Fox :-p

I guess I forgot how many items I have photographed things that would be easy to judge the size on, this would be one of them as most people are familiar with pinheads! Obviously I did not make sure they were sparkling clean before I captured them, yikes!

TiMACROfied — Extreme Macro Photography

A few other subjects in this post also lend familiar sizes that will give you a clear idea on how little it takes to fill the frame.

This was wild to me, the Mexican jumping bean. This is obviously the “after” shot :-)

Ain’t nature great!

Here is another angle of the bracelet from the last post.

The next three were pretty wild, nice find. A 9v battery’s terminal. The colors in the BG are actually neon ‘zip ties’. As you can see the posts took up most of the frame so it was a challenge to add additional “flair”.

Tips of a hair brush, DOF does wonderful things to it (2nd pic) :-)

Boat rope or hair scrunchie? (The latter)

TiMACROfied — Extreme Macro Photography

Toys! 1st one is a “Little People” head, 2nd one is just some random plastic toy…maybe a telescope or something, I forget!
