More summer fun from one of our 3 weeks vacation this year. This was the 2nd best pool of the trip. The 3rd pool was even better and you know, I haven’t even watched that TLV yet!

This was by far the busiest day of any of the pools that we swam at during those 3 weeks. Neither of the other two pools had this many people that I can remember.

One thing that kind of surprised me was that all 3 pools were a great temperature. I figured some of them would be far too warm for my liking based on the HOT days and balmy nights we are accustomed to in Texas. Not the case with any of the 3 we were at. All of them were just right, not too cold, not too warm!

This was a very cool swimming pool that we got to go to nearly every morning on vacation. It’s a neat setting surrounded by trees and a great view of the lake. Ok, actually I’m not even sure you could see the lake from standing in the pool but you certainly could from outside the pool.

It had a really neat kids area, the center section was what used to be a fountain. I think the fountain broke and they never bothered to fix it as some of the jets are covered up in fact. Too bad to, it would have made the pool that much cooler.

It had a decent shallow end too, 3′ I think. I hate the pool that are like 5′ and 5′ only…what is the point in that!! It’s a family resort not a place where Olympians come to train!

We were only there for an hour a day hence this being ~ 2mins long, but we had lots of fun and great weather as you can see.

This was another one where I figured to have a lot more playground type TLV’s but it just hasn’t happened that way. I would say that I plan to do more soon but I don’t see that happening as it is far too hot now during the day to go play!

No, we did not hijack the swings in order to get our turn. The kids were busy eating lunch…class field trip! I think it was a homemade set and so I was quite pleased that it did not fold under pressure if you catch my drift. It just felt a little light…not the standard iron/steel combos you usually see at the park.

Someone said getting the kids (not myself and my friend) would have made a better clip and while I agree, the kids really didn’t have time to swing! They were all over the play scape instead for the most part.

I think I described this one pretty well so I don’t have much to add, other than I haven’t been back to shoot another version. We’ve been at the same mall at least a couple of times but our daughter is getting too old for the small playground and or there are just too many kids there when we visit.

Why the mall only has one play grond is beyond me. It is Texas afterall, a lot of parents go to the mall just to escape the long summer heat!

I shot this at the mall several months ago I would have liked to used a different camera angle but I didn’t figure many parents would like the fact that I was taping their children! I was here with my daughter and she had a blast as always.

In a rare move though, I think she actually requested to leave whereas the standard operating procedure usually dictates that I have to pull her away from the fun! But not to worry, I usually let her roll a good 2-3 hours before I pull the plug.
