Scary stairs and more sunrise pictures from the plane.

One of the things I really lament is not being able to show you the full size pictures.
The stairs here are so much more interesting when seen with the full size file. Perhaps I should consider letting people download certain files from time to time!

Anyway, this file is nothing special but I did try a few things to tweak it to make it more visually interesting….of course that detail is lost when posted online, oh well!

I thought this picture would have made an excellent stock photo but alas, it was shot @ 400ISO and they are EXTREMELY ANAL about noise with stock photos.

This one too like the first, I roughed it up a little bit, almost gives it an underwater feel to it I think.

Sunrise. Someone mentioned to me that it would have been ever better had the sun made an appearance but I saw it live, it was far and away less interesting with the sun in the frame. A sunset on the other hand…then having the sun present helps.

I loved this formation of the cloud, right where the C is, looks like a face and a flowing goatee!

More from the tram ride. One thing I discovered during this, it sure it hard to manually focus while you are moving!

The tracks have a slight element of looking miniature I think but just imagine how much more so they would appear that way if you had access to the top of the roof line that you see!

A rare plane sunrise as seen flying out of the Austin airport. Thankfully the young lady that had the window seat traded with me so that she could sit with her husband or boyfriend. I was like SURE! I’ll switch with you!

I was not so lucky on the return flight home, then again I did not even ask the guy if we could switch…unfortunate. I was even going to offer him some money if he said no! But now I will never know!!

More HDR (High Dynamic Range) Sunsets II

Now my third installment of the HDR sunsets (yes I know the title says 2, I changed the naming).

I know these are just slight variations on basically the same composition BUT I was loving the range of blues to reds to yellows that the sky was giving me these few nights. I also worked up a black & white version, came out pretty good I think considering you wouldn’t normally put sunset into B&W!

Well, one thing I did learn so far, sunsets are popular. Hopefully these will get me some more or repeat visitors as the first 2 posts have Clapping 4
