This is such a wide shot of the helicopter that I thought I could do a cut out; probably don’t need the arrow? Oh well.
At first I was like huh….kinda blocky but then it occurred to me that the helicopter is but 1/50th the size of the entire frame so no way it’s going to be crystal!

I like the shot of the Capitol but then the Frost Tower get clipped!

Is this a cool shot or what. Once again the time of day and sky did not do me any favors though :/

It would have been cool to get a wide shot year by year of the entire city as it has GROWN exponentially over the course of the last decade.

This one is pretty sweet, could have gone even wider but we were flying to close!

Too bad there wasn’t a land vantage point of this shot of downtown Austin. It would look really sweet @ night.

No idea where this is, I wonder if I could find it on the google maps.

This shot was killed by the sky and the lateness of the day, all the more reason I want to hit these during the day sometime.

Star flight. I think it was in our view no more than 2 seconds. We’re going ~? 150, he too and in opposite directions that really closes fast!

UT! I thought I only had one good shot of the entire University of Texas campus but this one is quite good as well if not better than the one I already posted. THere is still some distortion on the right but less than the previous pic I think.

It’s amazing how everything looks so tiny from above. I cannot recall if we were @ 1K feet or 2K, I think the latter.
The bridges to me look minuscule but they certainly don’t feel small when standing on them!

This one turned out really NICE in terms of capturing UT and downtown.

This one might be the best in terms of what the pilot & I had envisioned for capturing the church as dusk. Very tricky to get what we wanted though for a variety of reasons. I am not 100% satisfied with this but I think it was the best we could do considering the degree of difficulty involved.

This one really shows the park (Auditorium Shores) very well. I tdon’t think I’ve ever been to the end of it, I would like to check out the train tressel sometime for sure.

I think these next two are pretty tight (good shots IMO), not much I can see that I would have liked to have done differently.
