Aerial Photography – Downtown Austin Texas

We took these in August, probably one of the hottest days of the summer, of which there were many!!
This summer was EXTREMELY hot. Being in an airplane @ 2000 feet was not very conducive to being comfortable…I was ill, but did not toss the cookies; whew.

I REALLY need to get a bigger collection of Austin Pictures. I have “a few to some” on my hard drive but I have either not edited them, backed them up already, or they aren’t very interesting.

I’d like to target specific aspects of Austin and thye surrounding area and have a separate gallery for each of them. As crazy as it sounds, I just don’t shoot very much here! Maybe if we were on vacation… :-p

Regardless, here are some fairly recent photos that I have taken throughout Austin and some bluebonnets as well. BB’s are another thing I should have oodles of but I don’t. Of course the weather has a very large bearing on that. Last year for instance was a horrible year for BB’s on account of the drought we had (and still have).
