What sets these next pictures apart, aside from the first one, is that they were taken on the field from the end zone.

I had seen on the http://www.dallascowboys.com/ website prior to going down to San Antonio, that if you joined their True Blue fanclub, you were given special seating at training camp and an opportunity to be taken onto the field for a 15 or so minutes segment fo the practice. Money WELL sent in my opinion.

My friend and I arrived early enough to get a good spot in line, and when we finally got seated we were in row 2! What’s more, we were in the first group to be taken down onto the field and when we were there, ALL of the action was coming towards us. The groupings after us were not nearly as fortunate since all of the action was a good 50-75 yards away from that end zone.

We (luckily) got some good action coming towards us though as the wide receivers were coming in our direction. We were maybe 30-35 yards away from the WR drills if that.

This one was quite by accident. I was using my zoom lens (Canon 70-200/4) and my 3X tele-converter. The combination requires a ton of light which the inside lights @ the Alamodome could not accommodate. This was one of only a few shots I was able to get, I liked how it shows motion but like I said by accident was the result! Click on the image for a larger version of what the lens combo looks like

A great shot of Bobby Carpenter coming across and catching the ball in mid air. I am really interested in seeing play more this year. He of just about anyone else on the roster has never got a fair chance to play, especially considering he was a first round pick (albeit insurance at the time due to Greg Ellis’s position change).
