STUFF! In my backyard! Critters (squemy types beware ;-)

Hooray for spring! Sure, while it only last 2.885 weeks in Texas – it provides ample opportunity to photograph neat stuff!
This also marks the first time in several months, maybe more than several, that I got outside and just took pictures (of this nature) for fun! Purely for the enjoyment of it.
As I have said many times before, the world of macro is a world unto itself. That being the case, sometimes I find myself looking at an image going “TOO COOL!” while other times I see an insect and go “EEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWW”. In both cases though, I still find them very fascinating. Such is the case with these images, a wild looking any I went COOL! And a insane looking spider I went EWWW! But don’t take my word for it:
A cool little bee dude
Not sure what kind of ant this is but I certainly would not want to mess with him!
Not sure what this potpourri is, I think a flower blossom and tree stuff.
It’s hard to see, but the brown thingy off of the light green thingy was a insect skin, cocoon or whatever.
HOLY UGLY SPIDER!
The “thing” above the spider is his “stash”? How disturbing!
And if that wasn’t bad enough, it looks like he’s downstroying a catepillar here….mmmmmm…..good eatin’!!
