Anything with water tends to lend itself nicely to B&W, the contrast between the water and the still water always sets the image off (IMO).

Tune in next post to see what settings and equipment I used to get the slow moving water to flow like I did with this first image.

Might need to invest in a polarizer (filter)….not sure if it would cut the ‘haze’ or what!

Mt. Ascutney

This is the actual summit…not much to see from here!

Good thing the fire tower is there to get you above all the fray.

This guy is great :-)

Might be the best macro shot of the trip!

Clover guest :-)

I know I took a lot of similar shots but I was enamored with the blue sky.

This guy scored big. I was using my 24-105mm + extension tubes though,

if I would have had my true macro it would have been even sweeter!

Lunch!

To you, O LORD, I call; my rock, be not deaf to me, lest, if you be silent to me, I become like those who go down to the pit. Hear the voice of my pleas for mercy, when I cry to you for help, when I lift up my hands toward your most holy sanctuary. (Psalm 28:1-2, ESV)
