Scenic Vermont Pictures 2009 #3

Written by timsdd on October 8th, 2009 in Photography, Vermont Pictures.

So for these slow moving water pictures I am using my Canon 40D, 24-105/4/IS/L, and B+W ND filter.

The pictures were usually shot @ ISO 100, 3s, F/4 – which weren’t the best settings, usually you’d want f/11-f/16 for landscape photos but @ that aperture the exposures would have been 30s easily…which is why my ND filter is too dark! 10 stops is too much, 5 would have been a lot better.

More Black River, I was loving this one section

The Black River

This is something I had seen 1K times growing up but never stopped by to actually take a photo of it! Took me long enough and I loved the result.

But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you. For you bless the righteous, O LORD; you cover him with favor as with a shield. (Psalm 5:11-12, ESV)
