We took these in August, probably one of the hottest days of the summer, of which there were many!!
This summer was EXTREMELY hot. Being in an airplane @ 2000 feet was not very conducive to being comfortable…I was ill, but did not toss the cookies; whew.

I caught a break with the fog on the tree line, adds an extra punch to the scene.

I love the wall the stone wall acts like a border, pretty cool looking; you certainly don’t see any of those in TX!

These were taken just below the Perkinsville covered bridge, right off Upper Falls Rd

The bridge was under construction that year (2007) so I do not have any shots of it! But I did manage to get quite a few good one of the river below, (looking west).

This rock stood out from the crowd that is for sure. One thing was for certain, I could not pass it up!
