This while I was waiting to pick up 2.0 passengers @ the airport. This is not during a rush hour by any means but I think it has potential, I would love to return when it’s really hopping.
I’m trying to remember, I don’t think I could get a shot of the entire 6 carousels at once that they have. I think access is pretty much one end of the baggage claim or the other as there are two main staircases/escalators going down to the claim area.
What sorta surprised me is that no one gave me a 2nd look. Sure the camera is small and I’m about as innocent as they get but not one double take the entire time I was there!
I also want to look for a nice vantage point for planes taking off and landing but I am not sure if one exists…time to do some scouting!
This is the first of ~ 34 time-lapse videos I want to migrate from Youtube/Metacafe to Smugmug. I will be still be using Blogger, YT&MC for viewership, but will do all of my new posts from here from now on.
The Smugmug versions are much better quality than the Youtube versions and sometimes marginally to quite a bit better than the Metacafe versions. I will also go back and eventually re-sample the videos to a larger resolution and change/get rid of the (I’ve been told – annoying) watermark. Those changes might not take place until the fall however, or at least a couple months from now.

And so finally the video!
I know, I know, this particular subject has been done to death, heck even I’ve done it at least twice.
I actually recorded this not knowing what I would get. The sky just looked interesting though the way the clouds closest were moving so fast.
Really it turned out cool b/c @ the end there are 2 levels of clouds moving in different directions. I thought that was pretty interesting, I don’t recall ever seeing that much if ever before!
Photrade continues to make improvements to it’s site, not only making the site more usable, but more fun and informative as well.
They have updated some of the major pages,
Photrade :: About us, now contains a really comprehensive overview of the site along with a nice graphic to go along with how users can utilize the site and maximize their exposure.
Photrade :: FAQ, A much more comprehensive FAQ, nearly 3-4 times larger than the original.
One of the “fun” (and useful) additions was the listing of popular galleries and photos on the site.
At the top of the navigation bar select “Browse” and then “All photos” and it pulls up a list of pictures (with thumbnails): “popular photos”, “recent photos”, “popular user galleries”, and a listing of some of the main photos categories.
Since I have been using the site for so long and was so excited about it when I joined, I have found myself as having many of the popular photos (Don’t worry I’m sure once more photographers join, my numbers will shrink)
Also, the top 3/4 of the most popular galleries are also mine
Here is a screen shot…since I figured some of you might doubt me! Photos 2, 4-9 are mine.
Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. (Jude 1:24-25, ESV)
