HDR Tree pictures, Eureka Schoolhouse, long exposure Black River Photos
Written by timsdd on August 12th, 2010 in Vermont Pictures.
HDR (High dynamic range) tree photos. This would have been better suited for the fall on a cloudy day, neither of which were possible! But I liked them well enough to share and I’ll leave it @ that :)
I’m a creature of order (I like going in order) and so you might be sick of these river pics by now but none to worry, we’re almost done with them ;-)]
This one was WAY underexposed, so I pushed it +3 and dropped the hammer on the black :)

This one with the FE is VERY misleading. What I was trying to show is the immense drop off from the point @ which I am standing but the lens really brought everything shallow. Trust me when I say that the bank is MUCH steeper than the lens gives it credit for. Also, I wasn’t trying to be cute including myself in the frame, this was my natural stance and that is how much that lens can pick up!
A regular shot for comparison :)

Thank you very much for the info provided! I was researching for this article for quite some time, but I wasn’t able to find a dependable source.
