I like Canon, and for that I would FTW. I'm not up to speed in the latest and greatest. The Rebel XSi is solid though, I'd start there and see what the Nikon equiv. would be and see how they stack up!

Yes! I meant to ask you about that. When I first tried drops I was clueless on the flash too…I thought fast shutter speed, high ISO would get me there but not the case!

Try the flashing (with the camera) and I bet you’ll see marked improvements.

Ah, you used flash. Silly of me not to think of that. That would freeze the whole thing perfectly. I just did mine using the light from the kitchen window and I reckon the shutter speed may have not been quick enough. Will have to keep that in mind for the next lot.
