These were the first fireworks photos I have taken in who knows how long.

Probably the first time in over 10 years if you can believe that! If that is indeed the case I need to get out more!

Most of them came out quite well BUT we were pretty far away from the actual show, a good 3-5 miles I bet.
That being the case it was hard to get a good angle to be able to cover the different size blooms.
I just shot wide and grabbed what I could!

This rounds out the 2nd time we went up in the plane to take pictures of the church.
If you recall, the church is lit perfectly in this set but it’s too dark! Too late in the day.

Now that we “have” the building though we should be able to coordinate a trip whereby ALL the pertinent lights will be on and hit the time of day just right.

First two pics are from the ground, man the building is big, I had to stand across the street to fit it all in!
