Ok, maybe it’s not WHAT is for dinner but you’ve used it with dinner, though usually not like this!

Quite by accident I figured out that if you left a cup of salt water lying around it would eventually dry up and form these really cool crystal formations. Since then I have tried to build on that, making the crystals bigger and more interesting. This is a pretty good, crop that I got here but I think I can do better.

The sideshow below is basically the same chunk using various angles and lighting. I tried to keep all of the lighting in camera, I usually like to do as little PS work as possible!

How long have I been using PC’s??? Not long enough as I discovered a nifty shortcut today that I have never used before with my Microsoft® Trackball Optical Mouse.

I’d like to know who else uses this mouse (though I am sure any mouse with a scroll wheel will also accomplish this shortcut), and knew of the trick.

If you hover over a live link (in my case it was a picture with a link), you can click using the scroll wheel of the mouse and it will launch the target into a new tab (I use FF3).

How cool is that!! It is perfect for my website timsdigitasldarkroom.com, as I was previously having to open pictures on at a time since there is a no right click on my gallery pages. Now I can just scroll click and go!

Sweet!

But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you. For you bless the righteous, O LORD; you cover him with favor as with a shield. (Psalm 5:11-12, ESV)
