Calvary Baptist Church!
I was standing here taking these pictures when a pickup (actually 2) stopped to see what I was up to.
The gentleman driving the first, he was really nice; not like the old lady @ the high rise. Turned out it was the pastor :-)
The light streaming across the frame is pretty wild I think.
TSE!
This was my trip back to the church after they turned on all the lights.
Hard to beat that dusk sky < 9pm but I thought this one was pretty cool.
TSE!

So as I was standing near the high rise downtown…taking pictures of the church (obviously) this older woman in a older model SUV wanted to make sure I was taking pictures of the church and not “casing”? the retirement home. Is that a big problem? People trespassing on the grounds of the high rise? I guess I could see crazy family members doing weird things but she had some kind of audacity to assume my motives were something other than pure :-)
First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ

I love how the light drapes across the frame in the 2nd one…unintended bonus!
I’ve always wished there was a better view of the falls but short of taking a canoe up to it, I don’t think there is!
A couple of these shots got severely distorted as I was trying to encompass the entire falls into the frame with the fish-eye. I gave them a mild PS tweak to remove some of the elements that got shifted. But the one below and then the 3rd one, I had to rotate them about 30 degrees I think!
Down the scary alley right beyond H&R Block. It’s DARK@ night!!
Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. (Philippians 2:3, ESV)
