Pictures Inside the Miller Arts Center, Springfield VT

Just as impressive inside as it is out!
I think the flowers were a nice touch, as you can see not a ton of color in the room.

This exhibit was the history of Springfield having overcome natural disasters and other calamities (fires and the like). On the right was a timeline for all the things that has happened to the town. The 1927 flood and the pictures they had of that were incredible. The other thing that stood out to me was the 1982 fire of the pellet factory…I remember that day vividly, looking up in the sky and seeing nothing but smoke! You could literally feel the heat from the banks near the Miller Art Center. They didn’t have any pictures of it though…someone in town must have some.
