dälek, these guys were a trip. WHat I remember most about this particular show: BASS!!!!! and lots of it!!

It was the kind of bass that just resonates through your bones! Pretty darn cool!

These guys used their own stage lighting at Emo’s….it was almost impossible to shoot them b/c it was so dark!

I mean it’s dark rough already on the inside stage with their “lighting” but man, AM Syndicate, while creating a nice atmosphere for their show – almost put the kibosh on my shots! That is why I have so few shots…not many of them came out!

Austin Texas Live Music Pictures: In Flames

I had never heard of these guys, not surprisingly if you’ve been following along.

IN FLAMES are a national act though as I have seen them on many tour listings and the like. I’m not sure how big or small their fan base is, my point basically was that they are not just a small (local ) act.

The photographers/bouncers area had been crushed prior to them going on stage. You know those plywood barriers just don’t stand up to THE MOSH! So I had to shoot from the back & side! Hence the much different angles than a normal shoot!
