Canon 24mm TSE: Austin, Texas Capitol Building
I went downtown to actually shoot this from afar but couldn’t resist visiting the grounds since it was such a nice day…more specifically a great cloud day.
I also wanted to take a few standard 24mm shots and then some from the same perspective with the tilt/shift to give you an idea of the kinds of things this lens can do.

Great shots Tim. Nothing like some good cloud cover, as long as some sky is showing, to add some character. I hate it when certain shots lack that special something and it’s all because the only background is clear blue sky. Sure some times its good but other times a few clouds is all you need to make the photo stand out.

Thanks
Clouds go a long way to spruce up a picture that is for sure. Another thing is the time of day…hard to go wrong with shooting at dusk, something I do not do nearly enough. They don’t call it the “Golden Hour” for nothing!

I agree, the cloud cover just too perfect, really awesome images. Didn’t invite me?

Heh, one of these dang days we’ll hit the road Andy! This trip was even quicker than my Mt. Bonnell excursion!
Thanks
